Its been so long since I posted, I think I will let pictures do the talking.

 Don't know what the deal was with making the monster face, but she wouldn't stop for those couple of days. She opens her mouth up real wide and no actual sound comes out. She's funny.

First Birthday

So Amelia is officially a toddler now! We turned her car seat around and she gets to face the front, which I think she really enjoys better.

Here is some of Amelia's traits so far.
-Sleeps from 8 pm til 8:30 am! Which is so awesome for mommy and daddy! When I put her to bed and I hand her blanket she snuggles with it.
-When she somebody she knows she waves hello, except her hand is facing herself, its almost like she's beckoning you.
-She's crawling all over the place.
-Will go up the stairs but had definitely not mastered going down.
-And when I grunt at her she opens her mouth as wide as she can and lands it anywhere she can ON MY FACE!
-She loves to bang on the keyboard and put her hands on my trackpad and will look up at the screen and hopes for something to happen.
-The remote control is one of her favorite toys also! She know exactly when to change the channel!

Basically she is the cutest baby ever! I can't believe how fast she is growing and I wish I could keep her this age longer.

This was done  when we first moved in but we had to reinforce the footing so new concrete was poured over this. So technically this no longer exists.

 Amelia is no longer afraid of the stairs, she will go all the way to the top if I'm not watching.

Halloween Weekend

Grandma Hilda had her 2nd annual Halloween Party last Saturday. She finally got to start up her fire pit.
I couldn't resist the photo opportunity next to the fire and her infamous "Draco" paci.

 Our 3 devils that night, although mine is a poor excuse for a costume.

Naked Baby

As we were cleaning our spare bedroom, getting ready for Grandma's visit, Daddy thought it was so funny to have a naked baby crawling around. Right up until she pooped on the carpet! Just kidding! She didn't, otherwise I would have taken a picture of that too!

I got some full frontal shots too but they are a bit too graphic, so instead I'm keeping them till she brings her first boyfriend around. She is gonna hate me!

I did some retouching to this photo, notice there is hardly any chipped paint on the rail. I think it looks better anyway.

New Name

I've decided to change the name of the blog. I think "Keeping up with Amelia" seems more fitting, since after all I have decided to dedicate this blog to her and photographs. I think I am stuck with my URL, but ah, I never really thought I will end up with an overwhelming amount of followers, not now or ever really.

Amelia goes to the Pumpkin Patch

So we took Amelia to the pumpkin patch today. We didn't purchase anything, we simply went for the awesome photo opportunity. We had fun. Pauline was the photographer today.

The colors are so bright.

I really want to go back to this pumpkin patch. It seemed really cool as far as pumpkin patches go. They had a petting zoo, a teacup ride, a jumpy slide, and jumbo trampolines. Can't wait to try them out.
